Webmail FAQs
How do I access my webmail?
You can access your webmail by using your internet browser
and going to:
http://www.YOURDOMAIN.co.nz:2082
If you go to the above address this will prompt you for your username
and password, and then open your Control Panel (Website Manager).
Click on the Webmail icon on the main screen, this will bring up
another screen with “Squirrel” and “Horde”.
Squirrel and Horde are 2 different programs for reading your webmail
– it is your choice which you use! We recommend Horde. Click
on the program you wish to use, enter your username and password
when prompted and you will be able to access your webmail.
How do I access my mail using Microsoft Outlook Express
or Microsoft Outlook?
This is very easy
1. Open your Outlook Express program. Go to the “Tools”
“Accounts” menu.
2. Click the “Add” button and select the “Mail”
option
3. This will prompt you to enter your name – enter the name
you want to appear on your emails when other people receive emails
from you – click Next.
4. Enter your email address in the box provided – this is
the email address you got allocated when you opened your account,
or, if you have set up an additional email account from your Control
Panel. E.g. my.name@mydomain.co.nz. Click next.
5. The next box will prompt you to enter a “POP” and
“SMTP” server. You need to enter you domain name in
both these boxes – do not include http://www simply enter
your domain such as: yourdomain.co.nz. Click next.
6. This screen prompts you for your username and password, this
is the user name and password you were given when you set up your
account. Or, this is the username and password that YOU configured
when you set up a new email account at the Control Panel. Click
next.
7. This concludes the setup process. Click Finish.
8. This will return you to the main screen. To send and receive
your emails you just need to goto the “Tools” menu and
select “Send & Receive”.
How do I set up additional Email accounts?
Go to your Control Panel - You can access your Control Panel by
using your internet browser and going to:
http://www.YOURDOMAIN.co.nz:2082
Enter your username and password, this will take you into your
main Control Panel screen. Click on the Email icon at the top left
of the screen. In the next screen you can add as many email accounts
as your Hosting Package allows.
